Charlie's parents might be rich, but he doesn't like to act it. Only his close friends know about his parents' wealth, because he doesn't want people to like him for his money. Even though he gets allowance, he has a job at the local videogame store, and is close friends with Daniel. Charlie has completely embraced the fact that Daniel is a vampire, and happily keeps his secret.
